Dear NIC friends,
This month, I’d like to dedicate my message to volunteering. It’s not always easy to step forward, make decisions, and take responsibility. But two years ago, I chose to do exactly that by becoming your president—and I haven’t regretted a single moment.
Volunteering has taught me something very special: the joy of giving is far greater than receiving. Being able to contribute, support others, and share experiences brings a deep sense of happiness and fulfillment. I am truly proud of how much I’ve grown as a person, learning from each and every one of you.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing your smiling faces during our activities. Those moments are priceless, and I will miss them dearly. However, as my family prepares to return to our home country, it is time for me to pass this role on to someone new.
We are now looking for the next president for the upcoming season. Don’t be shy—step forward and give it a try! This club has been shaped by many volunteers over the years, each leaving their own unique mark. It’s a truly special and international experience, and you could be the next to make a difference.
