Dear Members & Friends of the NIC,
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you for your trust and warm welcome as the new President of the NIC. It is truly an honour to take on this role and become part of such a warm, inspiring, and international community.
My name is Laura and my family and I have been living in Brussels for a year. The NIC has quickly become an important part of our life here, bringing new friendships, inspiring experiences and a true sense of belonging.
I am an officer’s spouse and a mother of two teenagers. With a background in pedagogy and business management, I later followed my passion and became a beauty specialist. I have also been actively involved in an officers’ spouses organisation in my home country, including serving as the chairwoman of one of its divisions. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, discovering different cuisines, music, and spending time with family and friends.
I truly believe that the heart of NIC is its members. As President, I look forward to working together to keep our club welcoming, active and vibrant. I encourage everyone to participate, share ideas and make the most of our wonderful community.
I am truly excited for the year ahead and look forward to meeting many more of you at our events and activities.
