Dear friends,
June is finally here!!! It is hard to believe that together we have already reached the end of the NIC season 2020-2021.
In its 50-year long existence, this current period has been the biggest test of endurance that our Club has been faced with.
It is a fact that new technologies have given us the necessary tools to stay connected. However, this link would not have been possible without the courage and motivation of our activity leaders and the rest of the NIC Committee who have encouraged everybody to move forward with large projects throughout the year. Without a doubt, it is easy to say that these people are a rare gem in their own right.
As you remember, the NIC´s motto for this season was “Step by Step” and now we feel remarkably proud of having achieved our goal. Actually, I would say we have exceeded our expectations.
A heartfelt THANK YOU is the essence of the message for this month, not only for my beloved NIC team, but also for all of you who have supported us in different ways through this tough year .
As a finish touch, we would be very grateful if you join the Coffee Morning on the 8th of June to bid farewell to some of our valuable volunteers of the NIC and to welcome the new team.
