A message from the President

Dear Ladies,

Well, January is here, the festivities and holidays are over and a new year full of activities awaits!

Have you made your New Year Resolutions? I hope so – and I hope they include becoming more involved with NIC activities…

We could start by promising ourselves a more varied repertoire in the kitchen… Join the REG (Recipe Exchange Group) for sociable lunches with an international flavour or learn how to cook something a little different for your beloved by participating in the Cook With Me group.

Are you feeling a bit sluggish after eating too much during the holidays and spending too long watching films in front of the TV? Why not join Barry’s walking group or Alice’s stretching’s lessons?

And are you stressed out all the by guests, the trips, the shopping? Why don’t you take a break and play Burraco, Mah Jong or Bunco?

Did you spent the holidays with family and so your foreign language skills are in danger of becoming a bit rusty? Why not join one of our conversation groups? Choose from English, Italian, German or French…

A lot of opportunities are offered by our Club and you have only to grab them!

Last but not least we have the final result of the takings from the Bazaar and this year again we have broken our record – we made over 200,000 euros!!!!! Well done everyone! Once again the NIC has been an important piece in the big jigsaw.
